MY friend actually mentioned this dish concept. so i pushed it, take a thick porkchop cut a pocket then pound it thin( my major problem maybe wrong mallet?) put a slice of ham some pickles and mozzarella in the pocket. now take a couple of eggs and add yellow mustard and whisk adding salt and pepper as needed,, flour,egg and then panko.Panfry golden then bake 15 minutes at 350 there you have it Cuban sandwich revised

  • 1 inch thick pork chops
  • Panko bread crumbs
  • thin sliced ham
  • Good dill pickles sliced thin
  • mozzarella sliced thin
  • 2 eggs
  • flour
  • yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. thick pork chop cut a pocket like a stuffed style pound thin (i have trouble with this mostly tearing) then add ham cheese and pickles to the pocket
  2. pre heat oven to 350 crack eggs add mustard and whisk take another bowl and add flour and one for Panko then do flour, eggs then panko set on a tray to rest pre heat a cast iron skillet to med high add a little cooking spray cook till golden outside
  3. now put chops in the oven on sheet pan if more than can fit in the skillet bake for 15 -20 minutes than make a mojito and eat
