The results of a 2011 workplace fitness study show prove that walking more is better for employees and employers alike. After receiving pedometers, over half of the study’s subjects walked more than 10,000 steps every day. In addition to being happier at work and getting more done each day, the subjects also reaped other health benefits such as lower blood pressure. The takeaway: even something as simple as adding steps to a daily routine can make a big difference for fitness, health, and happiness.
