If you’re not familiar with Pugs, let us enlighten you: They’re small, flat-nosed creatures who made funny faces as puppies — and got their faces stuck that way. June 21 marks the Summer Solstice, which heralds the start of summer in the northern hemisphere. Vacations, grilling, and healthy drinks by the pool? Just the thought of it all makes us happy.
By now, you may be familiar with Prancercise and its creater, Joanna Rohrback. Her five-minute exercise video, which demonstrates Prancercise’s “springy, rhythmic way of moving forward, similar to a horse’s gait and ideally induced by elation,” recently went viral. If this interview is any indication, her fame is well-deserved.

Norway-based Ida Skivenes is just like any other artist: She chooses her topic and a medium in which to depict it, and gets to work. Only in her case, her topic is famous works of art already in existence, and her medium consists of cheese, PB&J, and (of course) toast. The result of her “Art on Toast” project is far from derivative. Rather, it invites viewers to consider art as something that’s just as accessible as breakfast.
