If you ask us, the MVP of any great hors d'oeuvres spread is the humble cracker. Portable, crunchy, and lightly salted, crackers are just the best. And Simple Mills Sprouted Seed Crackers might just be the best of the best. Every box (and everything else Simple Mills makes) is made with real ingredients you can pronounce and nothing artificial ever. Plus, the crackers are the perfect size for topping and dipping.

Because we believe in recipes that check all the boxes (good for you, delicious, pretty, and simple), we partnered with Simple Mills to create four appetizers using this delish finger-food base. Each recipe can be made in less than 30 minutes, is Paleo-friendly, and tastes as good as it looks. Serve these up at your next party and watch them disappear.

1. Baked Sweet Potato Bites

1 medium sweet potato, peeled
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Simple Mills Garlic & Herb Sprouted Seed Crackers
1/3 cup almond butter
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1/2 cup pecans
Pinch salt

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut the sweet potato lengthwise and then into thin, 1/4-inch, half-moon slices.

2. Place sweet potato in a medium-size bowl and combine with coconut oil, cinnamon, and salt. Put on a baking sheet, making sure the slices do not overlap.

3. Bake 10 minutes, then flip sweet potatoes over and bake another 10 minutes. Once potatoes have a slight crisp to them, remove from oven.

4. While potatoes bake, mix almond butter with maple syrup.

5. Place each sweet potato slice on a Simple Mills cracker and add a dollop of almond butter. Top with a pecan.

2. Warmed Cranberry Compote and Goat Cheese Bites

2 cups fresh cranberries
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 lemon, zested
1/3 cup water
Simple Mills Original Sprouted Seed Crackers
1 package (4 ounces) plain goat cheese or your choice of dairy-free cheese, crumbled
Ground or fresh ginger

1. In a saucepan over medium heat combine cranberries, maple syrup, lemon zest, and water. Bring to a light boil, stirring frequently and slightly mashing cranberries.

2. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes or until compote thickens and cranberries begin to burst. Remove pan from heat, taste the compote, and add a bit more maple syrup if desired.

3. Spread the cranberry compote on crackers. Sprinkle with cheese and a small dash of ground or fresh ginger on each cracker.

3. Caramelized Pear Bruschetta

1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 pears, chopped
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup dairy-free cream cheese
Simple Mills Original Sprouted Seed Crackers
Pinch sea salt

1. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add chopped pears and sprinkle cinnamon, honey, and sea salt over top. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until pears begin to caramelize.

2. Add balsamic vinegar to the pears and cook for 1 minute more. Remove from heat.

3. Spread cream cheese on crackers and scoop 1 tablespoon of caramelized pears onto each cracker.
