Well, thanks to the magic of the Internet, we learned it’s entirely possible. The Vegedeco Salad Cafe, which is set to open in Nagyoa, Japan, on April 5, will serve colorful, salad-cake hybrids, with tofu and cream cheese frosting (blended with more veggies for natural coloring) and a sponge base made of soybean flour. Also on the menu: gluten-free bread and tea.
