Hana is a proud New Yorker with a soft spot for dumplings and wines with a bit of effervescence. After getting her master’s degree in journalism at Northwestern University, Hana worked at media outlets including Food52, InStyle, Martha Stewart, and Bloomberg News. She is the former executive editor of Chowhound at CBS Interactive, where she led editorial and commerce strategy for the site, and helped launch the Table Talk podcast. She attended the French Culinary Institute (now International Culinary Center), followed by a brief stint at Jean-Georges’ ABC Kitchen. Her passion for the intersecting worlds of food and lifestyle can also be seen on the site Pantry Confidential, which she co-founded.
