For many, being a teenager in the ’80s meant hanging at the mall and consuming as many cups of Orange Julius as possible. As a nod to this frothy, orangey drink, which remains one of the best takes on a smoothie ever, we created this recipe, a fancier homemade version of the original.

- 1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (from about 1 medium lime)
- Ice
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a blender, then add ice to the 3 1/2 cup mark. Blend on high speed until smooth and frothy, about 1 minute. Serve immediately.
