The very first Burrito I ever made at home, I had a hankering for a burrito one night so I went to my grocery store and decided to play around with what I’d put in it for a bit.

  • Yields: 7 Burritos
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Total: 35 mins

Ingredients (8)

  • Flour Tortilla’s
  • 2 Breasts Chicken
  • 2 Yellow Onions
  • 1 Red Peppers & 1 Yellow Peppers
  • 2 Poblano Peppers
  • Any Can of Baked Beans
  • Half to Full Can of Kettle Corn
  • Mexican Cheese Blend from a Grocery Store

Instructions

  1. First cut Pablano, red and yellow peppers into thin strips. The thinner the better because they cook faster.
  2. Cut both yellow onions into strips
  3. Cut both chicken breasts into strips into sort of thin strips (It shouldn’t be hella important how thin they are because they will be chillin out with onions which need to carmalize)
  4. Throw all ingredients so far into a big old pan and drizzle olive oil over to help with caramelization of onions
  5. Stir so that chicken is to Yosemite Sam guaranteed to be cooked
  6. 15-30 mins later turn off heat (technically onions wouldn’t be caramelized but that our little secret)
  7. Place how many ever flour tortilla’s out
  8. Put a spoon full of baked beans into to tortilla (I used baked beans because it’s a heck of a lot easier to buy a can of baked beans then make them from scratch for the sake of a simple burrito for any given meal for myself)
  9. Put Pollo con Raja to desired
  10. Roll tortilla into burrito ( If you don’t know how to then Google it)
  11. heat pan
  12. place burrito flap down onto hot pan so as to seal
  13. either cut burrito in half or eat as is
