McBride Sisters Collection, Inc., America’s largest Black-owned wine business teamed with publisher, Simon & Schuster to launch the Black Girl Magic Book Club in February. According to the brand, the book club was designed to “read and celebrate Black women authors across different genres — while enjoying a glass of wine, of course.”

In the inaugural March selection, book lovers and wine enthusiasts are invited to enjoy two bottles of the brand’s most popular wines — Black Girl Magic Riesling and Merlot — while poring over one of Simon & Schuster’s most anticipated titles, The Final Revival of Opal & Nev by Dawnie Walton.

The first 50 book club members will receive the two bottles of wine and the book title ahead of its commercial release date. And all purchasers will be invited to an exclusive chat with the author and the founders of McBride Sisters Collection, Robin McBride and Andréa McBride John, in April. The cost to join the club is $89.

Whether you appreciate books and wine together or separately, this combo has “comfort” written all over it. We can all do with a break from reality at times, and most of us enjoy a little something to help us unwind from a long day. Joining this book club could be your ticket to tapping into a little of both.
