What’s better than ending malaria? How about having a laugh along the way. CollegeHumor and non-profit Malaria No More teamed up with more than 30 celebrities to end all malaria-related deaths in African by 2015. While malaria is nothing to yuck about, CollegeHumor helped round up a bunch of funny-people to support Malaria No More‘s cause.

The non-profit has called on celeb-supporters in the past but things are a little different. The campaign, called “Malarious” features Celebrities such as Ed Helms, Kenan Thompson, and “Weird Al” Yankovic doing strange and hilarious things for our entertainment. But this time, users must pay a small donation (at least $1) in order to access the videos. Every contribution goes to helping treat children with malaria or preventing it from spreading further.

According to Malaria No More, the disease killed 655,000 people in 2010, the majority of those being children under the age of five. And although CollegeHumor is known for pumping out funny stuff but these videos serve a bigger purpose than just inducing a giggle or two.

What happens in the videos? Well we can’t tell you, because then you won’t want to watch. But we can tell you that Elizabeth Banks gets pied in the face. Malarious is a way to lift spirits and save lives. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Can comedy really help stop malaria? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
