This recipe is a Middle Eastern classic that is sure to draw a crowd at your next party. It has a potent taste of garlic and cumin, but is rounded out by walnuts, tomato paste, and oil. It is extremely flavorful and quite unique next to other appetizer mainstays. Traditionally, it is made with breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, but we’ve tweaked the recipe a bit to make it vegan. Enjoy with crackers or toasted bread!
