Ever feel like one bottle of Coke just wasn’t enough? Well, soda guzzlers can drink easy now that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s controversial ban on sugary drinks larger than 16 ounces has been shot down.

This week, the ban on non-diet drinks was tossed out by State Supreme Court Justice Milton Tingling. But Bloomberg didn’t give up, immediately taking to Twitter and releasing an official statement vowing to appeal the ruling. Heck, Bloomberg even showed up on The Late Show with David Letterman to plead his case.

What’s more, Bloomberg is still pushing for a ban on styrofoam, which, though it is a common found container in restaurants and delis, doesn’t degrade over time.

It seems like Bloomberg isn’t showing a lot of love to restaurants, but are these changes actually for the better? Check out our comments below and see how you stack up in popular opinion.
