Every Monday on our Instagram stories, we share a super-easy, 7-ingredients-or-less recipe. Follow us for a new episode each week!

Tasty snacks don’t always have come out of a package or box. You can make delicious and satisfying ones with ingredients you probably already have at home—and it only takes a few extra minutes.

We love these cute little skewers because they pack protein and veggies in one bite. They’re finger food, which automatically makes them amazing (less dishwashing! More fun!). And since they’re way healthier than the treats you’ll find in the snack aisle, you can fill up on them without worrying about maxing out on sodium.

Rosemary Caprese Skewers

Recipe adapted from: Somewhat Simple
Makes: 8 servings
Ready in: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS

1 8 oz. container mozzarella balls
1 10.5 oz. container cherry tomatoes
Fresh rosemary
Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
Salt, to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Clean all but 1-inch worth of rosemary off of the rosemary branches so there are about 3-5 inches of skewer space.

2. Alternate skewering cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls on a rosemary stem until the stem is full (about three of each per rosemary sprig).

3. Arrange skewers on a serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with salt and serve!
