Kat Robson graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in early childhood education (and a minor in snowboarding). While studying and living in the granola-crunching Green Mountain state, she got a better understanding of the importance health plays in our lives, which sparked her interest in creating fresh, local, and natural dishes for not only for herself but for the little ones she taught.Soon after graduating, Kat realized she wanted to teach beyond the walls of a classroom and utilize her creativity, knowledge, and appetite for health and cooking. Striving to help others, she worked along side young adults with special needs as a life/job coach. Playing a vital role in their life improving their personal and professional lives she also focused on their overall wellbeing by helping them make healthy choices, cook lighter, and engage in an enjoyable fitness routine. After many fulfilling years of encouraging others, as well as working with young children as a teachers aide, she was also pursuing her inner Martha Stewart and Rachel Ray by working for a catering company while simultaneously executing her own events. She loves nothing more than making others happy by creating unforgettable experiences by taking their vision and ideas one step further.A native to long Island, New York, Kat has a passion for adventure, believes in living life to the fullest, and maintains a healthy and active lifestyle beyond the walls of the gym. Kat loves surfing anywhere from Long Beach to Montauk, snowboarding in Vermont, and zip lining in Costa Rica. Always up for a new experience, Kat's tried everything from hot Pilates and paddle boarding, to teaching, and blogging about local eateries, all things health and fitness, and planning her adventures!Seeking and enlightened lifestyle Kat has a strong desire for success and leads a very active healthy lifestyle which fuels her positive, spirited outlook. Not only can she make a mean lemon blueberry cupcake but from mud runs to marathons, Kat is always going the extra mile — literally. My most troubling weakness is... ice cream! Well lets be honest: those self-serve frozen yogurt places where you can smother a somewhat healthy treat with crushed oreos, peanut butter, and strawberries... yum!I'm looking forward to learning more about... everything and anything!
