J. Scott Kasteler

Dr. Kasteler eceived his medical degree from University of Utah in 1991. Dr. Kasteler did his Internship at the University of Arizona from 1991 to 1992 and completed a Residency in Dermatology at the University of Louisville from 1992 to 1995. Dr. Kasteler is a Board Certified Dermatologist, having passed the board Certification Exam in the fall of 1995 and passed the Recertification Exam in June 2004. Dr. Kasteler is a Member of the Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology, Kentucky Medical Association and Greater Louisville Medical Society. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at University of Louisville and participates in the education of medical students, dermatology residents and residents in other specialties. Dr. Kasteler is active in both clinical research and direct patient care. His research interests focus on psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer, and acne. He speaks nationally on these subjects.
