Haley Dillon Byers, Ph.D., CBSM is a licensed clinical psychologist currently in private practice at Atlanta Insomnia and Behavioral Health Services. She is one of only two board-certified Behavioral Sleep Medicine specialists in the state of Georgia and specializes in nonpharmacological treatments (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy) for insomnia and related sleep disorders.
Dr. Byers received her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama with a concentration in Health Psychology and Behavioral Sleep Medicine. She completed her doctoral internship at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, followed by a year of postdoctoral work as the Primary Care/Mental Health Integration psychologist at a VA outpatient clinic. Dr. Byers has published several peer-reviewed articles and chapters in the field of behavioral sleep medicine and has ongoing research interests in sleep behavior patterns (e.g., nightly variability in sleep) and comorbid insomnia.
