After surviving the most intense year of my life in the master’s program at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School, I knew I could tackle anything. Thankfully, I found yoga to help me through the grad school stress and am now a full-blown addict.I moved to New York City to make it as a journalist— what a cliché, I know. But I’m not begging for food or sleeping in alleys as feared. I’ve been an online assistant for Country Living and ELLE DECOR magazine.When I’m not watching my beloved Colbert Show or working up a sweat at the gym, I enjoy reading a library book, exploring the city streets, or traveling beyond the U.S. borders.My most troublesome weakness is... Terrible posture. I’m always hunching over the keyboard, or even away from the keyboard. I’m working on it. I consciously give myself “posture checks” as often as possible.
