I have been a competitive runner for 10 years now, throughout high school and at the collegiate level for the University of Maryland. With that being said, I have always been one for physical activity and being conscious of my own health, treating my body right through daily exercise and healthy nutrition. Now that I have graduated from college and have completed my 5-year term as a division 1 athlete, I have been running on my own and have started to train for different races, such as half-marathons, 10Ks, and so on. Besides running, I have taken up yoga and am looking to get back into dance (I danced for 15 years of my life thus far).Other than having a love for being physically active, my true passion lies within photography. I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in studio art and graphic design, so I guess you can say I highly enjoy having a creative outlet. My passion for photography is more of an obsession (a healthy one though!) and I'm currently taking any freelance opportunities that come my way as I finish up graduate school at NYU. I was fortunate enough to study and work on my photography for two months in Italy this past summer and have been continuing to work on my portfolio and experience whatever I can within the field, in hopes to become a professional photographer one day.My most troublesome weakness is... I don't have a sweet tooth and purposely don't buy sweets for this very reason... IF I do (which I did the other day, whoops), those sweets will cease to exist within minutes of purchase. I can't just stop myself at two cookies... instead, will eat 12.I'm looking forward to learning more about... Cooking! I've had time to cook more and really enjoy doing so. I'm excited to discover new tasty healthy recipes.
