After a long night spent tossing and turning, it’s tempting to hit snooze or sneak in some extra zzzs with an afternoon power nap. But the best thing you can do after a sleepless night is absolutely nothing. Sure, it seems counterintuitive, but finding time in the middle of the day for some shut-eye can make it so you’re not tired when you want to go to bed that night. Instead, try going about your day as usual (no nap or early bedtime), and your body should naturally return to its desired sleep schedule.
