Last week, we asked our ambassadors what their their favorite, healthy breakfast is. We received so many delicious and wholesome recipes that we needed to share more of em! From oats with flax to poached eggs and banana protein pancakes, here are some tasty ways to start your morning off right.

1. cinnamon raisin oats and flax seed

Simply prepare a packet of organic instant oatmeal mix that has flax seed in it. (If not, I add about a teaspoon). Then, sprinkle cinnamon to taste, add some raisins. and pair with hot jasmine or ginger peach tea. (via Natalie Fisher)

2. chocolate peanut butter smoothie

Combine two scoops of chocolate whey protein powder, 1 banana, 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds, and ice. Blend and enjoy! (via Jessica Grimes)

3. Mediterranean Eggs n' pita

Slice a whole-wheat pita in half. Spread with hummus and add two eggs sunnyside up on top. Sprinkle with sea salt, cinnamon, and paprika (via Tiffany Refsnider)

4. peanut butter and jelly waffle

Toast a whole grain waffle and spread a tablespoon of natural peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of organic grape jelly. Easy and delicious! (via Rista Karakanas)

5. banana protein pancakes

Blend 1 ripe banana and 1 egg together. Add delicious things to it! (My newest experiment is peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon.) Heat a skilliet or griddle to medium. Scoop about 1/3 cup of the mixture onto the skillet at a time and flip after about 20-30 seconds (or when it gets bubbly). Eat as is, or add fruit, syrup, or honey! (via Yukie McGregor)

6. poached eggs with beans and veggies
Saute your favorite veggies and seasonings (I like red bell peppers, garlic, and cumin). Rinse a can of beans (black, pinto, or cannellini work well) and stir them into the pan until they are heated through. Meanwhile, poach your eggs. Assemble your meal by laying down a bed of fresh spinach, topped with a scoop of the bean mixture, and spoon your poached eggs on top. (via Natalie Melchiorre)

7. mug egg n' cheese sandwich

Lightly coat a mug with non-stick spray. Add 4 tablespoons of liquid egg whites, 5 or 6 cherry tomatoes, spinach, then salt and pepper to taste. Microwave for up to 90 seconds. While that's nuking, toast a whole wheat english muffin, then spread half of a Laughing Cow cheese wedge on each side. Top with the eggs, spinach, tomatoes, and voila! (via Dena Krischer)
