This cat, however, has got some athletic prowess beyond all that brutal knocking over of things. The little guy waits patiently for his owner to propel the mini soccer ball, then knocks it down like he’s an itty-bitty (albeit furry) Hope Solo. While other cats would rather not be bothered, this one actually likes taking hits (maybe he even likes baths. Gasp!)
Perhaps what we love most about this video are the slo-mo bits. While a lack of opposable thumbs make catching the ball a minor difficulty, the cat has reflexes better than any human pro-athlete. And though he repeatedly bashes his face into the closet doors, it’s kind of sweet that he’s playing a form of fetch with his owner. A little YouTube proof that animals can be greatists too.
