  • 1 parsnip
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 beet
  • 1 Fuji apple, preferably unwaxed

Special equipment: You’ll need a juicer (we tested this recipe using Breville’s Juice Fountain Plus) or a high-speed blender, such as a Vitamix or Blendtec.


  1. Peel the parsnip, carrots, and beet. Scrub the apple and cut it in half—no need to remove the core and seeds.
  2. Juice or blend the ingredients. Serve immediately.
