Are you kicking it keto-style? Between counting carbs and curbing cravings, we know meal prep can be a total drag. That’s why we looked high and low for the best keto-friendly frozen meals that actually taste great.

The point of the keto diet is to reach ketosis, a metabolic state in which your body burns fat instead of carbs. Research suggests that a ketogenic diet could lead to faster weight loss than other diets.

But to do this, you can eat only 20 to 50 grams (g) of net carbs a day. Basically, RIP bread 🥖.

We picked the best meals based on:

  • Net carbs. The fewer carbs, the better! But we also chose a couple of options on the higher end of the carb range to accommodate all types of low carb diets.
  • Versatility. There are noms for all dietary lifestyles, including vegetarian and vegan.
  • Ingredients. We selected only meals that have top-notch ingredients without a super high sodium content. Many non-keto frozen meals come with high amounts of sodium, which isn’t good for those with high blood pressure. The American Heart Association recommends that most adults consume no more than 2,300 milligrams (mg) per day, with 1,500 mg being the ideal limit.
  • Availability. We prioritized meals that you can buy in-store as well as online.
  • Customer reviews. We wouldn’t do you dirty, keto fam. We selected only meals that have rockin’ reviews.

Here’s a closer look at our 15 fave keto-friendly frozen meals for all dietary lifestyles.
