Tend to Forget? Write It Down!

Ever get a great idea, only to have it disappear moments later? The simplest solution to this age-old problem might just be the best: Write it down. Keeping a pen and notebook handy — especially right before bed, when the mind is winding down — is a great way to clear that head of clutter and make way for more killer ideas. Come back to the notebook once a week to review those flashes of brilliance with a new perspective. Then, make them happen!

The Takeaway: Keep a pen and paper handy to never miss another great idea.

If you have an iPad there's a great app called OmniFocus.  I use it to organize projects, to do lists, etc., but the most useful function is a note feature that allows you to simply enter something quickly that you don't want to forget and it stores all the notes in a queue.  You can go back later and categorize/organize the notes, but at least you get to jot it down really quickly before you forget!!
