According to a new study, lacing up the running shoes could mean a few more years down the line. The scientists studied CDC reports and deduced that active adults live between one and five years longer than their sedentary counterparts. The study has some limitations (for example, it doesn’t take diet or behavior into account), but it’s another good reason to shoot for those 150 minutes of moderate activity every week.

Do it Today: Head to the gym or out for a run to live a healthier and longer life.
