Terra Castro was introduced to the sport of triathlon by her grandfather in 1997. Her passion for triathlon was ignited and she competed as a Junior Elite at various World Championships in triathlon and duathlon across the globe, until 2003 when the choice was made to turn professional. It was time to go after those dreams. Most recently, she crossed the line at the 2011 Ironman Cozumel, in 4th place, first American. Terra has found that committing to your passions opens the door to great achievement. She believes this passion and joy can fuel your drive for success and will allow you to motivate others to live more boldly. To this day, her 80 year old grandfather continues to support her at almost all her races- even as he fights through round 4 of cancer and conquers his daily running miles. She has learned from the best, about how to LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
