Dr. Leonard Press is Optometric Director of The Vision & Learning Center in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He formerly served as Chief of the Vision Therapy Services as the State University of New York, State College of Optometry, and is an Adjunct Professor at the Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Press is a Consultant on Visual Disabilities for the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). Author of three textbooks and numerous chapters and articles, Dr. Press is a leading international authority on developmental vision, vision therapy, and vision rehabilitation. A Diplomate in Binocular Vision and Perception of the American Academy of Optometry, and Board Certified in Vision Therapy by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, he has twice received the Scientific Achievement Award from the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
