Run a mile > run the bleachers > 10 sprints uphill > run stairs > run another mile, sprinting every 100 yards, mixing in high knees & butt kicks > fancy footwork in the tires reserved for the football team > walking lunges > ABDOMINALS... pass out. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. Favorite way to de-stress: Take my dog Lyla Riggins to the dog park where she can run, play, and fetch with abandon. Why I'm a greatist: Four years ago I was told I would need surgery to repair two herniated discs that were preventing me from walking. Today I'm kicking ass and taking names because I decided surgery wasn't an option. I married my best friend (and "personal" personal trainer), who inspires me every day to be the best version of me. I cook healthy food most of the time, and sometimes eat not-so-healthy yummy recipes with "butter" in the title. I'm a greatist because I choose to lead a healthy, happy and balanced life rather than waiting for it to happen to me.
