About
I’m a college student, where being healthy has its challenges. Late-night pizza, the dining hall’s dessert buffet, and my comfy couch have all provided temptation, but I’ve learned that living a fit and nutritious lifestyle is possible in college. From taking advantage of Zumba classes at the campus gym, to taking day-trips to hike in the mountains, I’ve found that being active is a huge part of feeling great and keeping your mind healthy.
I’m also a huge foodie and love to eat. Although I’m a terrible cook, I enjoy trying to (as long as there are detailed instructions). I love filling my body with healthy food– like huge salads topped with fruits and veggies– but I also have a sweet tooth, especially when it comes to fro-yo (Cookies and cream? Cookie dough? YES, please!).
I’m also a girly-girl at heart, and you could say that fashion magazines are my best friend. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and hanging out with my wonderful friends and family!
My most troublesome weakness is... Anything that involves peanut butter. I could put peanut butter on anything and be happy. Dipping my fingers in the peanut butter jar? Can’t say that’s never happened. Don’t even get me started on peanut butter fro-yo.
I'm looking forward to learning more about... Nutrition! I love learning how certain foods can impact my body and mind. Being a student, this is particularly important to me. What foods will give me the greatest energy and the greatest brain power? What foods will boost my memory and help me study harder? I want to learn what I can eat that will help me be my greatest self.
