Sometimes, water just doesn't do it. We know it's the healthiest drink out there, but every once in a while you just need a little kick of flavor with that dose of hydration. This recipe is part flavored water, part smoothie, bringing together the best elements of both: You get a healthy dose of hydration from the water, but with a big antioxidant punch from the fresh watermelon (one of our favorite superfoods) and frozen strawberries.
Recipe: Watermelon-Strawberry Water
What You'll Need:
1 cup watermelon, cubed
4-6 frozen strawberriers
2 cups water
What to Do:
- Combine all ingredients in blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glass, straining through a sieve if you wish to eliminate the seeds and watermelon pulp before drinking. Enjoy!
