Sometimes all it takes is a change in mindset — no matter how small — to turn a crappy day into a good one. To help you shift into a happier gear, we’ve rounded up five things from around the web that inspire and delight us, and we hope they’ll do the same for you. We’ll be sharing our favorite happiness-boosters each week, so be sure to check back — and please share your own in the comments below!

1. This majestic invertebrate

Seriously, have you ever seen an insect look this good? This fuzzy little gal or guy reminds us that there’s beauty and majesty in pretty much every living thing (Spoiler alert: That includes us and you.).

2. This picture of two toddlers — who have never met each other before — hugging in an airport

Man oh man do we hope this story is true, because it’s a good one: As it goes, these two toddlers spotted each other in an airport terminal and decided a spontaneous hug was in order. Perhaps he’s comforting her because she lost her shoes. Perhaps she’s comforting him because his parent is making him keep his shoes on when he really wants to go barefoot. We’ll never know, but we’re heartwarmed nonetheless.

3. This video of New Yorkers saying something nice to each other — via megaphone

A couple years ago, Improv Everywhere placed a wooden lectern with a megaphone and a sign reading “Say Something Nice” in public spaces around New York City. The result was, well, nice.

4. This video of a grizzly bear gnawing on the camera and then going about its grizzly business

This video brings up a lot of emotions: Terror (look at those teeth), relief (thank goodness we can’t smell its breath), and awe (dude, that’s a real-life grizzly). If you watch past minute 2:00, things get a lot happier— the grizzly starts playing and hunting for fish in the water, in front of a stunning background of mountains and trees. Talk about majesty! That these scenes happen every day (even without people watching) makes us feel pretty darn happy.

5. This pep talk from a little kid who’s just learned to ride a bike on his own

This one’s an oldie but a goodie. No matter what obstacles you may face, know that “you will get the hang of it.” He knows it.
