And here we thought the NBA was filled with athletes, not musicians. The basketball organization’s latest holiday-themed musical ad proves us wrong yet again. Last year, pro ballers Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Joe Johnson, Dwayne Wade, and Russell Westbrook teamed up to “sing” the classic holiday song “Carol of the Bells” — using only dribbling basketballs. This year, the high-flying ballers stepped up their musical (and athletic) game by rigging basketball hoops with specially tuned bells. The stunt (like last year’s similar ad) promotes sales of special 2013 Christmas Day jerseys.

We can’t say what’s more impressive — the spot-on 3s, the impeccable musical timing, or the rather obvious digital enhancement. Either way, it’s worth watching for sports fans and Christmas music aficionados alike.
