Announcing the New Greatist Workout of the Day Series!
Here at Greatist, we think exercise should be fun, challenging (in the good way!), and accessible — for everyone. But it's not always easy to find quality programming to make the most of your time in the gym, and a trip to the search engine of choice doesn't normally help clarify matters; usually, there's just too much to sort through.
That's why we created Greatist Workouts of the Day (GWODs for short!), high-quality fitness programming available for free to our readers. The GWOD page is updated daily, and the workouts can be done by anyone in any gym with standard equipment, and users can pick between 2, 3, and 4 day per week programs. They're perfect for both genders and incorporate strength training, conditioning, and flexibility/mobility work into every session.
From now until February, Greatist is partnering with Joe Vennare and the team at Hybrid Athlete to provide GWOD programming. The workouts will focus heavily on interval and circuit work, resulting in intense and super-effective calorie burn that gets users in and out of the gym in record time.
