What if we told you a slice of cake was as nutritious as a salad? You probably wouldn't believe us—right?

Well, thanks to the magic of the Internet, we learned it's entirely possible. The Vegedeco Salad Cafe, which is set to open in Nagyoa, Japan, on April 5, will serve colorful, salad-cake hybrids, with tofu and cream cheese frosting (blended with more veggies for natural coloring) and a sponge base made of soybean flour. Also on the menu: gluten-free bread and tea.

Check out the treats in the photos below. Not only are they better for you than a typical slice, they're also works of art! And if they taste good too—well, we'd just have to try one to believe it.
